Welcome to Hammered from Founder, Ken Procaccianti

When I created Hammered, I did not know what to expect.  Like you, when you start your Hammered chapter, I was introducing something completely new to my college campus.  A new idea.  A new way to have fun.  And, a new way to experience college. 

But, when our first meetings and events filled the rooms to capacity, I knew we were on to something.  Students like me had grown tired of relying on plastic cups and keg stands to meet people and make friends.  We knew there were alternatives and Hammered would demonstrate the many other ways to have a good time. 

Change however can sometimes produce misunderstanding.  Be clear about what Hammered is and what it means when you bring it to your campus.  Hammered is not anti-anything and we’re not anti-drinking.  We did not set out to tell anyone that drinking is wrong or preach about the ill-effects of drug use. 

Rather, we are demonstrating that you can live one night of your weekend, your whole life or anywhere in between without drugs and alcohol.  Anyone and everyone can participate. 

You’ve come to Hammered.org because you are looking for other ways to have a good time.  You won’t have to look any further when you start a Hammered chapter. 

The following guide has been created for you to make starting your Hammered chapter fun and easy.  We’ll walk you through it step by step: file the paperwork with your school, invite your friends, hold meetings and pull of some wild and crazy events. 

Hammered is only as strong as its network of chapters.  And, the website Hammered.org is yours to create, customize and update.  Thanks for taking the initiative and getting involved.  See you around.
